THROW YOURSELF “ALL IN”

Key Text: Act 5:1-2

Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. With his wife’s full knowledge HE KEPT BACK PART of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.

One of the major reasons many have failed to achieve the level of success that they so earnestly desire is because they do not give everything they’ve got to their life pursuits. Many success stories have been truncated because majority have held back from total commitment and have kept “a bit of themselves” back for themselves.

Ananias and Saphira died in the presence of the early church because they decided to keep back for themselves part of what they were supposed to bring into the common purse, while expecting equal distribution of resources from that same purse.

Many believe that they are entitled to the same level of success that others are achieving in their industry but they aren’t putting everything that the successful people are putting in. The little boy that gave his lunch for the feeding of the 5,000 could have kept back for himself one or two loaves of bread, but rather he “threw himself all in”; and for sure the little lad went home with way more than he gave.

The truth is: Your result is dependent on how much of yourself you put into the task at hand.

If you are NOT ALL IN, You are ALL OUT- Gbenga Solademi

How much time do you give to your work? How much of yourself do you pour into your ministry? How much of your energy and emotions have you invested into your chosen line of business or career? If you give part of yourself to your business, if you give part of yourself to your family, if you only give part of yourself to your children or just part to your ministry; these areas of your life will give only part back to you: often times- parts that may not amount to much, but frustration.

Make a decision today to pour yourself into that project, into that business, into that course or cause, give all to that career; give everything into the ministry that God has called you to and wait to receive a hundredfold in this present age- and to receive eternal life in the age to come.

Whatever is worth doing at all needs all of your time, all of your faith, all of your talents and of course all of your focus.

Prayer: Sweet Jesus, create in me the mind to give myself to the assignment that you have put in my life. Crown all my efforts with outstanding success in Jesus’ name.

You will succeed!
